Select a face-up card, then a destination column. Dragging also works.

A more flexible stock rule

Keep these points in mind. The game still uses 104 cards in ten columns. Relaxed Spider on yufengad.com permits stock deals while columns are empty. The objective remains eight complete same-suit King-to-Ace runs. Choose one suit, two suits or four suits using the game controls.

The relaxed difference

A few details help explain this feature. A stock card dealt to an empty column becomes that column's first face-up card. The relaxed stock rule does not allow mixed-suit groups to move together. An empty column no longer prevents a stock deal in this variant. The relaxed stock rule does not change the rank requirement for ordinary moves.

Ten columns and a stock

A few details help explain this feature. The first four columns have six cards each and the remaining six have five. The stock contains fifty cards for five later deals. The opening tableau contains 54 cards. Only the bottom card of each opening column is face up.

Descending rank placement

Keep these points in mind. The two cards do not need to share a suit for a single-card placement. An Ace cannot receive a lower-ranked card. A King needs an empty destination because no rank is higher. An exposed card may land on another exposed card exactly one rank higher.

Follow one suit

The following details apply here. A descending group moves as a unit only when every selected card shares a suit. A break in rank prevents the entire selected group from moving together. A suit change can leave a smaller movable group at the bottom of a column. Same-suit building can reduce the work needed to separate mixed sequences later.

Use empty columns thoughtfully

Empty columns remain useful for separating temporary mixed builds. A new stock row fills every empty column with one card. Any exposed card or legal same-suit group can occupy an empty column. You may preserve an empty column until you decide to deal from the stock.

Stock deals are still shared

Here are the details for this mode. Dealing can block an existing sequence as well as reveal new combinations. You cannot direct an individual stock card to a chosen destination. A stock deal places one card onto each of the ten columns. Undo restores the previous arrangement when the stock-deal snapshot is available.

Clear the table

The following details apply here. The game removes a complete run automatically at the bottom of a column. Changing the number of suits does not change the number of required runs. A complete run contains thirteen face-up cards in one suit from King to Ace. Eight collected runs are required to finish Relaxed Spider.

Practice the variant

The following details apply here. Replay restores the same shuffle for another attempt. New game creates a fresh shuffle in the selected suit setting. Random relaxed deals are not presented as guaranteed solvable. Hints identify legal options without guaranteeing a win.

Resume locally

Here are the details for this mode. Privacy & Cookie Settings lets you turn saving off or clear local records. Relaxed Spider keeps its saved games separate from standard Spider when saving is enabled. Each relaxed suit setting has its own current local game. My Statistics displays relaxed starts and wins in separate rows.
